Refused food at lunch time by rude staff

Well I wrote last time that the Golden Hind was an ok pub but now I am forced to write them a bad review.
Working on the science park a group of us from work (normally about 15-20 people) normally go out for pub lunch on friday.
This week we went to the Golden Hind, with it being a short walk away. We got there, found a table and decided on our order.
After a third of our group had ordered the bar maid turned round and told the rest of us that no more food orders would be taken. This was at 12:15pm and we were told this was because there was an hour's wait on food (how long does it take to put things in a microwave, I mean its hardly gourmet), but the pub was not overly busy.
When we explained that we were all part of a group the barmaid basically told us tough and wandered off to serve someone else.
So we eventually had to get refunds for all of our colleagues that had ordered food and instead wandered off to the hungry horse pub down the road. The meals were much better, quicker to arrive and the staff much more friendly and efficient. So I shall not bother using the Golden Hind again as there is a much better pub 5mins walk down the road.
